​​The Health Access NP clinic is run by Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) Maryanne Roy, who believes in working with her patients to maintain and improve their health. She works independently as well as in collaboration with patients' existing Family Physicians and other medical specialists to serve adults day to day medical needs, and with diabetic foot care and wound care in Sechelt. Maryanne believes in providing comprehensive health care services to her patients in a friendly, warm, relaxed atmosphere. Maryanne uses health promotion and disease prevention strategies with her patients as she provides her nursing services in Sechelt. She also believes in educating her patients as she works with them to achieve their best possible health state. 

At Health Access NP, our mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care to adults on an as-needed or preventative basis.  Our NP Ms. Roy, has created a practice that she believes will serve the unique needs of adults on the Sunshine Coast here in British Columbia.
NP Roy is now accepting patients into her practice. While it is her preference that patients become rostered she also welcomes drop-in visits. She gives back to her community by providing the opportunity for foot care free of charge to the local homeless residents.

Maryanne Roy lives on the coast, has been a Registered Nurse since 1989. She holds a BScN degree from the University of British Columbia, a Masters in Nursing from the University of Alberta, and a post-Master of Nursing degree in Advanced Nursing Practice from the University of Alberta. She is certified by the American Board of Nursing via the ANCC, and has been a Canadian Certified Critical Care Nurse since 1997.  She has completed her training as a recognized Foot Care Nurse and Wound Care Nurse. She is a proud member in excellent standing with the BCCNM.
